I am looking at using the telecom model for modelling our campus fiber network. Right now I am focusing on the patch panels and there are some things I am not clear on. I originally had a problem with port type but I think I understand that now--input ports are on the backside, output ports are on the front side. Is that correct?
I have not been able to figure out the "IsFromEnd". The Data Dictionary I have is from August 2007 and it does not include this field in the Port Objects description. In the template map of Ft. Pierce, all cables are indicated as "F". That could mean False or it could mean From, but my real question is what is this referring to? How do I determine this value for my fibers?
