unsupported CIM symbology on layer

Hello,

 

The line layers I created in ArcGIS Pro, display an Unsupported CIM symbology on layer message when I add it to a Scene.  What does this mean and how do I fix it?

In the layer menu "properties". Go to "Elevation", select "on the ground"

Thanks a lot for your valuable question and apologize for the late reply.

ArcGIS Pro uses Cartographic Information Model (CIM) symbols by default. This symbol type is not supported yet by all our web applications, including Scene Viewer. Therefore, you will see an error message in Scene Viewer. 

To be able to fix the issue you have to select the Use symbol types compatible with all clients checkbox within the configuration panel when sharing your ArcGIS Pro layer as a web layer. This will make sure that the symbology can be read as well in Scene Viewer.
