Export Network in Arcgis Pro

Hi all,

We're planning out our upgrade to Arcgis Pro and I'm looking for information about the GP tool Export Network.

My understanding is that as of Pro 2.9 and Enterprise 10.9.1 the tool has full functionality and now populates the output concurrency table.

I have 2.9 but our enterprise is still at 10.8.x, and since I cannot find the tool in Pro and there is only Developer documentation for it (https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/lr-export-network.htm) am I correct in that in pro it is only available as a service through portal?

If anyone has information on how it actual works in pro that would be appreciated.

Also, I am interested if there are any differences in output between the Arcmap and Pro versions. We have an external software that is completely reliant on this output.

Hello Colin - Both of our external system integration tools are now installed with the API so you do not need to manage publishing GP services to access these operations. Please reference:

There is differences in the code that RHUG-AAGW has talked about but I don't know if anyone has tested to review the output at this time. I would recommend testing. That said it depends on what version/patch of R&H desktop your using as there was a bug found that SDE and FGDB exported different results.
