Good morning,
I am trying to configure my desktop to show when I right click a Pyhon script the option to open the script to IDLE or IDLE (ArcGISPro)
Well, it should just work out of the box, but if you install/uninstall/reinstall Pro in different locations on a regular basis (like I do), sometimes the registry keys get out of whack. At that point you need to use RegEdit to repair the paths (there's three locations in two different keys where the current Pro install location needs update).
I'm not going to walk you through something that has the potential to completely corrupt your host. If you're comfortable with RegEdit, you know why. And if you aren't, you probably shouldn't do so, and should turn it over to your IT admin staff.
Good luck!

You could create a short cut:
Navigate to: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\Lib\idlelib
Right-click idle.bat and select Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)
Rename the shortcut to something useful like IDLE Pro
Thanks @TonyAlmeida , I did that,
I think the default for Win10 was to show all, and for Win11 is to show a reduced set. That may be the problem.
There are a couple posts here about configuring Win11 to show the full list.
