user needs to digitize a point using snap. With the Python script I have the user can create a point but snap doesnt work. I use the onMouseDownMap method in a PythonAddin - I guess its not designed for being used with snap?
Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to provide a tool (addin or otherwise) which allows the user to digitize a point for a specfic feature class with (visible) snap? Instead of opening editing session and so on I want to provide a one-click solution for the user to digitize a new point. ArcMap 10.5.1, standard license.
