For a better overview in My Esri when creating an ArcGIS Monitor license, it would be very useful to integrate the possibility to take over the deployment reason when creating the license file. When generating the license file, this reason is not part of the drop-down menu.
The aim is to offer the same three options when creating an ArcGIS Monitor license as when issuing an ArcGIS Server license, for example.
- “New deployment”,
- “Update to new version from previous deployment”
- “Replace previous deployment at same version (license lost, destroyed, or overridden)”
