Exporting a geodatabase using the Oracle 12c R2 Data Pump utility returns ORA errors (39127, 01422, 06512) due to multiple ST_DOMAIN_METHODS references in the SYS.OBJ$ table.

The limit on database object name size is the smaller of either the limit enforced by the database management system or the geodatabase limit. Limits vary from one database management system to the next. The types of characters allowed in object names vary by database management system but are also affected by how ArcGIS stores and queries the object information.

As of the 11.4 release, the tile cache data store is deprecated. In a future release, it will no longer be supported.

  • The ArcGIS Data Store tile cache data store is leveraged as the underlying storage mechanism to support hosted scene layers in ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • In ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4, this type of ArcGIS Data Store is deprecated and its functionality is replaced by the object store.

Which are the release plans for Oracle 23ai (23c) Support for ArcGIS Enterprise?

  • Oracle has not released Oracle 23ai On-Premises for Linux and Windows yet. 
  • On Nov/01/2024 Oracle has postponed again the release, this time to 2025.
  • Esri will certify and support Oracle 23ai with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise in a future ArcGIS release after Oracle releases the Oracle 23ai On-Premises for Windows and Linux.

The Rebuild Network Topology tool was introduced with ArcGIS Pro 3.3 for utility network users and was also exposed as the Rebuild current extent option on the Validate dropdown. This tool and command provide the ability to rebuild the network topology in the current extent of an active map.  This Add-In enables users who remain on ArcGIS Pro 2.9 and 3.1 to benefit from this functionality.

Workflows have been identified that can cause inconsistencies in the branch versioning system tables. When such an issue is encountered, features with missing branch versioning metadata can cause data inconsistencies when the version is reconciled, posted, and/or deleted.
