in the calculate solar radiation local government solution, there is an option to use 3d features such as buildings and trees to be "burned" into the input surface. I wonder what this means and what difference will there be from using input raster like DSM only. Thank you!

Hi,

You could use a DSM as well but some users only have a dtm or have a dsm with poor resolution.

Hello Gert, Thank you for the solution.

Can you please point me to a tutorial on how to create the 3D buildings you used in the same tutorial. I have CityGML files and wish to apply the same procedure for the Solar Radiation calculations on 3D buildings.

Thank you.
