LAS Dataset Clip Constraint Not Working

I've colorized a LAS dataset with NAIP imagery for my county but some tiles have picked up 0,0,0 RGB information at the imagery's border and this causes black points to appear in the point cloud alongside the colored points. I've tried adding a clip constraint (hard and soft) but nothing happens; the LAS dataset still draws points outside the clip boundary. I know I can remove the tiles in question or use the Extract LAS tool, but I think the clip should work. Any thoughts on why it doesn't? I'm using ArcGIS Pro 2.5. Thanks.
