PictureMarkerSymbol: Support for animated images (gif or apng)

Hi, are there any plans to add support for animated gifs or pngs for PictureMarkerSymbol anytime soon?

Animated GIF is not supported.

Are there other alternatives?

Unfortunately, there is no alternative for this. The good news is that it is planned to be supported. Though we don't have an upcoming release for it yet your post has been attached to our internal plan issue.
