The Esri Education Institution Agreement provides universities and colleges with broad access to Esri technology for teaching, research, and administration. Because the Esri Education Program offers discounted license fees, certain categories of use are not permitted under the terms of the program. Sometimes it is unclear whether a particular use is permitted under the terms of the Esri Education Program or requires a standard commercial license. This document provides a framework within which license administrators and Esri staff can make informed decision about the permitted uses of Esri products under the terms of an Education Institution Agreement.
