🌍 Exploring the Scope of GIS🌍
Yesterday, I was invited as a Guest Lecturer at one Senior College, (Maharashtra state) to speak on the topic "Scope and Applications of GIS (Geographic Information System)".
The main objective of the session was to introduce students to Geospatial Science and help them understand how it can open up career opportunities in various fields.
Unfortunately, many students from rural areas in India still lack awareness about such emerging technologies, and they often don’t receive proper career guidance. This lack of information leads some of them to discontinue their education, which eventually contributes to increasing unemployment.
That’s why I’ve decided to take it as my personal mission to spread awareness about GIS and Geospatial Technologies, especially among rural students—so that they can build skills, pursue further education, and secure meaningful job opportunities in this growing field.
I will continue making efforts in this direction and do my part in empowering the next generation with knowledge and possibilities.
