Size limit terrain? Convert lidar masspoint tiles to seamless raster

Hello,

is there a size limit creating a terrain. I want to add about 3000 tiles of lidar masspoint feature classes?

Or is there a other possibility to create a seamless ground point raster out of tiles of lidar xyz files?

So far I use this tools:

1. arcpy.ASCII3DToFeatureClass_3d

2. arcpy.AddFeatureClassToTerrain_3d
