I am trying to devise a way to calculate which census tracts with a distance of 5 miles have the positive value of a given field. I am doing this using Census Summary Files. I have yet to figure out how this can be done because of course more than field will have positive value to each tract and I do not know how to put that into a shape file. If any one has experience with this sort of technique please let me know, it would be a great help!
