CLIPPING AREAS FROM WORLD MAP BASEMAP

Hi!

I'm  trying to create a map of California extrated from the world map. Does anyone know how can I just have the shape of California???

I havent done anything with the coordinates I have. I just want to clip the California area.

If you are working with Arcmap, select manually or query for California, then right-click on the layer, select Data, Export Data and give it a new filename and saving location
