We would like to upgrade our geodatbases from 10.2.2 to 10.7.1. The geodatabases are Oracle SE2 12c R1 (64 bit) 12.1.0.2. I have read some things that say I have to go to something like 10.5 first and then 10.7.1. But some others say I can go directly.

The question is which do I have to do...can I go directly to 10.7.1 directly or do I have to go to something like the 10.5 first?

Hi Jonh,

I recently upgraded from version 10.3.1 to 10.7.1 on an Oracle 11g database. It works!

Thank you very much for the reply.  I was getting a mixed view from the posts and ESRI docs.

As per official documentation, it is supported:

Upgrade a geodatabase in Oracle—Geodatabases in Oracle | ArcGIS Desktop

From the link:

You can upgrade directly from a 10.2.x, 10.3.x, 10.4.x, 10.5.x, 10.6.x, or 10.7 geodatabase if your database is at a supported release.
