Hello,

We are trying to implement a scheduled script for maintenance of an Enterprise Geodatabase with ArcGIS Pro, using tools like Unregister as versioned, compress, analyze, rebuild indexes...

We use the traditional versioning with the option to move edits to base, but I can see the possibility to migrate to the Branch versioning.

Do I need to set up a maintenance process as I do with the traditional one? Does it work properly without the Unregister/compress/analyze maintenance?

Thank you,

Lorenzo

There is no need to unregister as versioned or compress with branch versioned.

I would connect as the data owner and run the rebuild indexes & analyze datasets tools on the branch versioned feature classes In Pro.

Thank you George for your answer.

I would definitely take in consideration the idea to migrate to branch, in order to skip most part of the maintenance process.

Thank you,

Lorenzo
