We use ArcGIS for Server 10.1.1 with Flex Viewer 3.4. I have an electrical network set up. Is there way to run a trace on a particular cable so you can see what it is connected too? I know you can do this in desktop with a geometric network, but just wondering if this possible to do within a Flex Map Viewer?

It would be nice if my users can click on a cable, and choose "Trace", then all the cable will be highlighted and a list of what Manholes and Handholes it runs through and which switchgear(s) and substations it is connected too will show up in a list and be highlighted as well.

Tim,
You could set up a GP model to do the trace and publish it to ArcGIS Server, then use the GP widget.  Here is the link to the example
