Session 1: Navigating Mentorship: Cultivate Meaningful Bonds

This session will be panel-style and we will delve into the art of mentorship to discuss strategies for fostering productive mentor-mentee relationships. The panel will consist of 3 professionals in the industry and we will hear their perspectives as they speak from a mentor, a mentee transitioning into a mentor, and a mentee’s point of view.

Session 2: Elevating Your GIS Career: Proven Resume Building Strategies & Tips
Wednesday, February 14th | 1:30pm - 2:30pm | WEWCC Room 102A
This will be more of a workshop-style session. Having a standout resume is critically important in today’s world. In this session, we will discuss advice given from hiring managers in the national government space along with insight into what a CEO might look for in a candidates resume. Make sure to bring a copy of your resume because after the discussion, we will have several resume reviewers sitting in the audience ready to take a look at your resume.
