Esri YPN Has a Shiny New Website
Esri Young Professionals Network (YPN) launched its brand-new website on July 1. This new website is a one-stop-shop for young pros to get resources for certification, events, mentorship, training, and much more!
Esri YPN was created in 2015 with the intention to provide a way for young pros in geospatial careers to connect with one another to grow their professional network, gain new skills to move up in the workplace, and be a part of a community of like-minded people. Its foundation is built on 3 crucial pillars: Learn, Connect, Lead.
Esri YPN’s mission is to help you (1) learn more about the power of location technology for career growth and professional success, (2) connect you with peers and industry experts through networking and tech-savvy contact, (3) help you lead others by gaining leadership experience to advance your career through mentorship and training.

The Esri YPN Overview webpage links to valuable training opportunities for professional development such as Esri Academy and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Upon completion of a MOOCs course, you’ll receive a certificate where you can proudly use it on your resume and GIS portfolio.
You’ll learn about the Esri Technical Certification Program to navigate which certification would best build your confidence, credibility, and professional business growth.
