The 2024 exam version is an associate level exam. It is intended for candidates with at least 2 years of applied experience. The exam tests the candidate's experience using concepts and processes to effectively manage an ArcGIS Online organization. This exam validates skills related to managing members, licenses, credits, content, configuration, sharing settings, and groups.
This version was originally published in 2019 as a Specialty exam. Specialty exams were created with only 40-multiple choice questions and do not provide test takers with a section level score report to provide performance information. All specialty exams have been converted to associate level exams to improve the test-taker experience, and all specialty exams were retired on 30 June 2024.
