I've run into the same issue @BobFolsom2. What was your solution? Apparently, I'm making the same "user error".
Typing "National Park Service Trails owner" does not yield anything useful; especially if you follow that with a colon as the book suggests (no results at all). You have to type "Yosemite National Park Service Trails". I added the web map from "AlixSolutions" and that seemed to work fine. "National Park Service Trails owner:" by itself does not work, but "National Park Service Trails owner: AlixSolutions" does work.
Editing this again. My impression is that the search functions is flaky. I searched "owner: Top20EssentialSkillsForExperienceBuilder" and did see "National Park Service Trails" in the results (among many others). Then I modified the search to "National Park Service Trails owner: Top20EssentialSkillsForExperienceBuilder" as the book suggests, and it worked. Clear the search box and type "National Park Service Trails owner:" and nothing. Search "National Park Service Trails owner: Top20EssentialSkillsForExperienceBuilder" and you get the correct results. It's all or nothing! Good lord.
