Getting to know ArcGIS Pro 2.8 book

Hi,

I am reaching out because I bought the Getting to know ArcGIS Pro 2.8 book in amazon (received yesterday) and it suppose to grant access to the download the software to do the book exercises through the EVA code. I had already activated the code but only allow me to download ArcMap 10.7/ArcGIS Pro 2.4 and the file downloads available do not show ArcGIS Pro with a version attach to the name. Also, I had try to download the file, but at the end it does not grant me access.

I've not installed ArcGIS Pro the way you're describing, but ArcGIS Pro will notify you that a new version is available, and allow you to download and install it.  So perhaps even though it's 2.4, it will allow you to upgrade 2.9.1 after it's installed.  The last sentence was unclear: "but at the end it does not grant me access."  Are you saying that the EVA code doesn't allow you to use the software?

Also, when I try to sign in into ArcGIS Pro it gives me this message. Your account could not be used to authorize ArcGIS Pro because it is an ArcGIS Public Account.

It sounds like you may have signed up for a Public Account instead of using the 180-day EVA trial. If you contact customer service they can sort it out for you. 1 (888) 377-4575 or service@esri.com.

Yes that is correct, the EVA did not allow me to use the software, because I installed the software, the ArcMap 10.7 and ArcGIS Pro, and the software did not open.

Hello, in fact, I have not dealt with this version and the other versions so far. I am still working on Arc GIS 10.8.1 because in Iraq, work on new applications is still rare and few. Thank you. I wish you success in work.
