ch4-hydrant-cutoffsentence.jpg

In the Ch. 4, section labeled "Why use a Geodatabase?" it looks like the sentence describing the firehydrant.shp was cut off?  It states "FireHydrants.shp, for example, might be a point feature class that represents cities."  I am guessing it is meant to say a city's inventory of fire hydrants or something like that?  Hoping this can be looked at and modified to be more clear.

Thanks,

Jeff

Yeah. I can verify from the second edition of the book, which states,

" Cities.shp, for example, might be a point feature class that represents cities."

The highlighted shapefile in the image is Firehydrants.shp, though.

"... represents firehydrants" would make the content accurate in the latest edition.
