
The Welcome Back mural and a recap by the numbers!
After attending numerous International Esri User Conferences over the years (22 as a user and/or press attendee) and now 1 under my belt wearing a red lanyard, I’m always interested in the numbers. Additionally, examining some of the prominent numbers from the event always makes for some entertaining, and interesting, reading – I hope!
Of interest, some of the hot conference trends and topics based on attendee questions and feedback included:
- Indoor GIS
- Security operations
- Carbon solutions

GIS professionals are becoming more impactful and increasingly important (but we all know that!)
And so, I share some of the numbers that jumped out at me while taking in UC #23 for me. Note, these numbers were obtaine Friday the week of the conference and may not be considered official/final
