The Esri Community MVP program  is designed to recognize and support the most valuable participants in Esri Community. MVPs are individuals who lead by example and are dedicated to the core values of Esri Community. Their contributions are highly valued, and they play a crucial role in the success and growth of the community.

According to the Esri Community team, these latest MVPs are individuals who lead by example through their participation and who dedicate themselves to core characteristics of the program, including possessing a deep understanding of Esri products, fostering collaboration and engagement, and providing guidance and support to others, among other actions.

Call to Action for Partners

Partners are ideally suitable as MVPs in Esri Community for several reasons. To be accepted into the Esri Partner Network (EPN), companies must be aligned with Esri’s business and technology strategies, they strive for customer satisfaction, are experts in GIS technology and solution delivery, and they are committed to Esri technology. As such, partner community members are an ideal advocate and evangelist and highly suited to engage with the Esri user community at large.

When it comes to the Esri Community MVP program, the following are typical, core characteristics of MVPs:

  • MVPs possess a comprehensive knowledge of Esri products and services, enabling them to provide valuable insights and support to other Community members. In short, they understand Esri technology
  • MVPs actively engage with the community, fostering collaboration and encouraging participation – they are engaged
  • MVPs offer guidance and support to other Community members, helping them navigate challenges
  • MVPs regularly participate in discussions, sharing knowledge, and contribute to the community's growth

As you can tell, the skills and experiences of Esri partners closely align with the desired attributes of an Esri Community MVP.

For partner team members who aspire to become an MVP there are several benefits:

  • MVPs receive recognition for their contributions.
  • MVPs have elevated access to Esri staff, allowing them to influence Esri Community's roadmap and provide feedback on Esri products and services.
  • MVPs are given exclusive opportunities to participate in events, webinars, and other activities, including networking opportunities.

According to Chris Catania, Sr Esri Community Manager, “in 2025, Esri welcomed 14 new MVPs into the program, including four who are also Esri Business partners. These new MVPs were selected for their continuous involvement and notable contributions to Esri Community.” The MVP program supports and empowers the best-of-the-best among Esri's customer members, recognizing their dedication and contributions to Esri Community.
