Unable to publish ArcGIS v10 Map service to Geoportal 9.3

I am trying to upload ArcGIS Server v10 map services as REST end point URLs to Geoportal Catalog v9.3. When I add the service using the network upload form I do not see any error and I do not see the published record. Does anyone published ArcGIS v10 map service to Geoportal catalog 9.3 ?
