I would like to change the default maps the Geoportal uses for "Streets", "Aerial", and "Topo".
I changed the paths in the <basemaps> tag in these two files:
Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\webapps\geoportal\viewer\config.xml and config-all.xml
Nothing changed when I called up the Geoportal Server Map - it is still using the maps from arcgisonline.com instead of our own map services.
Are these even the correct files to edit? If not, what file or files should I edit? If so, why aren't my changes taking effect?
