Hello, I recently began using ArcGIS Geoportal Extension 10.
I would like to know on what basis is classified types in the Browse Tree, ie how ArcGIS understand what content type I'm upload (application, clearinghouse, document, downloadableData, geographicActivities, geographicService, liveData, mapFiles, offlineData, staticMapImage).

Have the same question and looks like here is no answer yet ((
The problem is that I add some resourse (for examle url-link) and do not see it in any content type I have now, but just in the "All types" list. So how the geoportal do assing the type to resourse? Or what standart should I use to assign it by myself from the existing list of types? Or how can I modify the resourse types list and assign some file types or web resources to it?
Actually any advise would help. Some code, link on help or any other.
