ArcGIS Server 9.3 - ESRI Geoportal Server 1.2 - compatibility

Hi,

Is it possible to have ArcGIS Server 9.3 AND Geoportal Server 1.2 installed on the same server?
Are there compatibility issues between the 2 versions?

You might run into some issues if you intend to run the ArcGIS Server web adapters of 9.3 in the same Tomcat instance as Geoportal Server. if you do encounter issues, try with a separate Tomcat install (and port) for Geoportal Server. this should work fine.

hi goodmorning, i am not sure if my queries are related to this forum. I'm using ArcGIS 9.3 and i'm just exporting my maps to google earth using the string which is export_to_kml. I would like to view my maps in Google Map rather than in Google Earth to show more details and have a clearer view of the streets. How can i resolve this issue? Do I have to download the ESRI Geoportal Server? If so, will it run even though i don't have any ArcGIS Server? Thank you for your help.;)
