A Sneak Peek of the Upcoming Environmental Review ArcGIS Solution

Howdy! The ArcGIS Solutions team is working on a new solution for Environmental Review. This solution will help organizations streamline their environmental review processes.

We are currently designing this new solution and want to share a sneak peek. The workflows and designs you see in the demo may evolve as we move closer to a production release of the solution.

We are working with great users to capture ideas and we are also looking for addtional input from the community. Please feel free to leave a comment or reach out if you have ideas of how we can build the most impactful solution possible.

Hi, Matt,

Thanks to you and your team!

It would be great to see the following:

1) A way for the applicant to upload a zipped shapefile or kmz; most of our reviews are not parcel-based but project based

2) A way to add a button that calls a geoprocessing script. We have a few fairly complex spatial computations that applicants run by clicking a button and viewing the results before they push their project forward.

3) A way to loop in reviewers from other agencies (outside of our AGOL organization). We share jurisdiction on a lot of projects we review, and other agencies rely on our review application.

If I'm understanding the demo and documentation correctly, being able to send emails without webhooks is a *very* exciting development!

Hi @MattBullock, I'm curious what the similarities and differences are between this solution and the NatureServe Environmental Review Tool (with the latest Esri platform). I know NatureServe is an Esri partner, so do these two work together or is this a solution to replace the NatureServe one?

The Environmental Review solution is replacing the Environmental Analysis ArcGIS Solution. You can find more information about the newly released Environmental Review solution here. The new Environmental Review solution is not intended to replace or conflict with partner solutions.
