Is the new Utility Network closely aligned to CIM

Sorry this is a very broad question but is the base electrical utility network model closely aligned to CIM? Also, where can I view what this model looks like?

As far as I know Esri is working on including a CIM extractor tool to be included in a future version that will allow you to export the connectivity in CIM format. .I don't have any details on how the model will look and what information will be included, but it is on the list of important enhancements that will be implemented in the ArcGIS Utility Network Management extension.
