Creating and Automating Transmission Line Routes

We are looking for a way to create transmission line routes automatically using constraints in ESRI software or any other supporting software. Does anyone have experience doing this?

Hi Paul, I believe Georgia Transmission did a presentation or a paper several years ago. Esri's Solution Engineers have demonstrated this capability in the past.
