On December 3, 2024 at 9 a.m. (PT), we will host our next chat on the topic of “No More Static JPGs!: Best Practices for Sharing and Presenting Your Maps.”
With the advent of web maps, maps are now interactive with detailed information that can be presented in pop-ups, symbology, and labels that can vary across multiple scales. Web maps can be used on mobile devices, and they reflect changes as soon as an author hits “update.” In many cases, the ways that we are still teaching about presenting spatial information, are almost as if all we still had were print maps. Join us for this month’s chat where we will be looking at best practices for presenting and sharing spatial information.
