GeoEvent Logger How To/Documentation

I can't find any documentation on the GeoEvent Logger application.  

I am trying to monitor certain GeoEvent inputs and it seems the Logger is configured to only monitor port 5575.  I would like it to monitor other inputs/outputs.  Is this possible?  Is there any user documentation for this application?
