I have built our own Tile Package Builder form that just feeds the parameters into the ESRI.ArcGIS.DataManagementTools.CreateMapTilePackage class. We find that the Tile Package Build sometimes fails without a specific error message. When you Analyze the project it returns no issues with the document you are about to build the package for. Through testing I have found that it is a character limit on the file path. The limit appears to be 191 characters and anything greater than this will cause the Tile Package Builder to fail. Does anyone know why there would be a limit of 191 characters for the output path? Is this a bug with the ESRI.ArcGIS.DataManagementTools.CreateMapTilePackage class maybe?
