Renaming the raster doesn�??t work.

I wanted to rename the raster �??rainfall�?� to be �??Rainfall�?� (to make the first letter capital) but the raster doesn�??t respond! It remains as �??rainfall�?�!
What might be the problem?

What do you mean by �??remove it�?�! I�??m working already on the catalogue view!

Then you will have to refresh ArcCatalogue (which I never use), within arcmap, the TOC generally doesn't get refreshed, where I was assuming you were working from.
