migrate sde_binary to st_geometry

Hi,

I have installed arcsde 10 with oracle 11g and default storage configuration is ST_GEOMETRY.  I imported my existing arcsde 9.3 database with default storage configuration as sde_binary.
I am able to import all the layers using oracle dmp files. I also successfully upgraded database.
But when I try migrate existing layer storage type from sde_binary to st_geometry, I got error as it is not supported on a view. I tried using gptool and arcsde command line and I got the same result.
Please provide me solution.

Are the tables in question spatial views? If so, the error message is accurate, and you'd need to
drop the view ('sdetable -o delete -t view_name'), then recreate the view (preferably with SQL, then
by using 'sdelayer -o register'). Be sure to convert the base layer table first.
