Greetings,

I wonder if any one would know something related to the following 2 critical questions.

1- Is SDE 9.1 on Sun Solaris supports oracle 10g 10.2.0.4?
2- Is this functionality certified by ESRI?

Any serious help would be very appreciated..

Thanks in Advance..

Hi Dawood,

I believe ArcSDE 9.1 was last certified on:

  • Sun Solaris 10 (SPARC) for Oracle 10g R2 (64 bit) 10.2.0.2.0

  • Sun Solaris 9 (SPARC) for Oracle 10g R2 (64 bit) 10.2.0.2.0

  • Sun Solaris 8 (SPARC) for Oracle 10g R2 (64 bit) 10.2.0.2.0

For more details, please see the ArcSDE 9.1 System Requirements doc

FYI: ArcSDE 9.1 is a retired release and no longer supported by ESRI.

Hope this helps,

The only ArcSDE 9.1 that supported 10g was the "ArcSDE 9.1 for Oracle 10g" from
the online downloads.

In addition to ArcSDE 9.1 being retired, Oracle 10gR2 is *also* retired.
