Hi, I have bathymetry and contour lines created in Corel Draw.  I would like to import theminto Arc, and georeference them, instead of importing as a raster and then digitizing them manually.  I had thought I could export it from Corel as a .dwg or .dxf and then import it to Arc, but when I bring it in as either, the file is empty (the attribute table is empty).  I've tried it using just a simple straight line and still creates an empty file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK...I've got it in using the To Geodatabase tool.  Unfortunately, the bathymetry lines are distorted...every spot where a node was place in Corel, a dip in the line is made (making the lines look like teeth - see attached photo).

Any idea how to fix that?

instead of import as a shapefile,  we can convert the Raster to vector using corel i draw then convert to  dxf format and export the cadd layer to shapefile using Autocadd .

it might be take some time but 100% work.
