Dear sir ,

Recently I downloaded precipitation data from the site  http://www.chikyu.ac.jp/precip/cgi-bin/aphrodite/script/aphrodite_cgi.cgi/download?file=/V1101R2/APH... . However, this data are in .ctl file format. ArcGiS does not support this file. I would like to know about converting the .ctl file into arcgis supported file format. Please help me .

I will be looking forward to seeing your valuable tips.

Thanking you.

Did you review the README from that site? It says that the .ctl files are metadata for reading the binary files into some other application. -V
