EDITING CAD DATA IN ARCMAP (SNAPPING FEATURES)

i brought autocad data into arcmap using the From CAD to Geodatabase tool.  I have the polylines that i want to work with and edit separated and exported the data into another feature class and brought it into the geodabatase that i'm working with.   Now i'm trying to edit these polylines.....I can't get them to snap together.  I have classic snapping on, with a 10 pixel tolerance which is the default.  However my lines are still not snapping together.  Can someone tell me why this is and how to fix it? thanks!

Hi,
Is "Use Snapping" option checked on? You can find out by accessing the Snapping toolbar from the Editor toolbar. Once you have the Snapping toolbar up, click the Snapping drop down menu. The Use Snapping option is the first item and it should be checked.
