creating dynamic text with a relate table

I want to create a dynamic table or dynamic text from a relate that i made with my index layer. From my understanding this is a simple task when doing a "join"; however, i have to do a "relate" because i have multiple points that fall under each category.

Does anyone know how to either create the dynamic text directly from the relate table?

I am working within 10.2 ArcMap. I am attempting to create a Mapbook and want to use a table made from a join to create a dynamic text/table.
