Continue Feature Tool question

Hello all I am new to ESRI fourms. If this topic/question is in the wrong place sorry.

This might be a basic solution.

In continue feature tool, how do you tell it/AcrMap to continue drawing the feature at a different location/vertex then the one it automatically goes to?

Let me know if my questions does not make any sense.
