I have a problem with a Spatial Join in a Model. The join features is a feature class with many fields and I have to change the merge rules for many numeric fields, about 30, from "First" (default value) to "Mean" and it is a long time procedure. There is a procedure (a script or others) to change in my Model all the numeric field merge rules in "Mean" in one go ? Or is it possible to chenge the merge rules defoult value from "First" to "Mean" Or could be set the merge rules like a variable from a parameter in the Model ?
Instead of going through the toolbox, do it by right clicking on your target feature, select join on the menu, and on join the dialog box, select "join data from another layer based on spatial location". The new dialog box allows you to define the rule for all the numeric fields.
