cannot export a layer file to a shapefile

I m using ArcGIS 10.4.1 and i'm facing the following issue; I have create a group of many shapefiles, right clicking the group i couldnt find any  "data" option so i created a lyr file,

but even then in the lyr file there is no "data"  option.

Any ideas for that?

A group of shapefiles?

Perhaps you want to use the Merge tool in Arctoolbox to produce one output file.

A group layer in the table of contents is simply a way of organizing associated data, but it doesn't do any combining/merging or appending.  This is a separate process

You cannot export files to shapefiles by selecting the group.

Use the Feature Class to Shapefile tool.

that will allow you to export a large number of shape files at one time.

What is the final result that you want to have?

and Why do you want to export group rather than one by one?
