I have a corrupt raster dataset in a very big file GDB.
My problem is that I want to delete this raster dataset, but I always get the message, that the data does not exist.
I tried to delete it in ArcCatalog, with a Python command, from ArcMap, without success.
I often have to run a python script wit the data in this GDB and the corrupt raster dataset always stops the script...
I am really frustrated by now.
Has anybody an idea how to delete the damaged raster data?

Thanks,
Melanie

Hi Melanie,

What occurs when you try to create a raster dataset (right-click on the FGD > New > Raster Dataset) of the same name?

You may have to create a new File Geodatabase and copy/paste all of the data, excluding the raster dataset, to the new FGD.

I can not overwrite the damaged raster dataset eather.
I feared that there is no other way than to export all data to a new GDB exept the damaged one and delete the whole old GDB...
Thanks for the quick answer,

Melanie
