You would first need to create a connection to ArcGIS Online through "GIS Servers"/"Add ArcGIS Server" in Catalog (URL = "http://tasks.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/services").  Once you have established this connection, you will be able to add the locator to the model.

I did add the connection thru ArcCatalog and did use the locator online within ArcMap but whenever trying to add the same locator to a model I do receive an error. This is the error message that I get
"Create data element failed for this dataset. this dataset is not supported or may be corrupt."

It works in 10 though....just fine...

What version of ArcGIS does it work on and which one does it not work on?

It does allow me to drag and drop in 10 but it actually it seems like after being able to add it to the model it still throws an error when running. It does work within ArcMap, with version 9.3 I could not even add the address locator to the model - not supported ....
