I am trying to export our parcelbase (27,000 +/- parcels) with parcel number for the annotation.  I labeled the parcels and converted to annotation.  I used the Export to CAD tool and added both the polygon feature class along with annotation feature class, exported to .dwg.  My problem is that the annotation is so large and overtakes the smaller polygon features.  You cannot tell which number goes with which polygon.  I tried it numerous times, setting the label size down to 1, changing settings on my Maplex Engine.  I got the same results each time.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you exporting from a feature layer or a feature class?

When exporting annotation, it is best to export the symbolized feature layer so the Export to CAD tool can correctly read the symbology.

If you're still having trouble, you may want to add a CAD field to your annotation geodatabase that manually sets the output CAD text style and size.  These fields will override the default behavior so you can specify the exact size you want.  For more information, check out the help topics on using CAD fields.

Hope this helps.
