What's the best way to update side panel content?

Hi All,

I am using Map Journal for one of our projects. I was wondering if there is a way to update the side panel content based off a feature's attribute.

Basically, what I want to do is to query data from a feature service and use that data as the side panel's content. In that way, whenever my co-worker update something in ArcGIS online, the story map would be updated as well.

Any suggestions is much appreciated.

Hi Yichi,

This is an interesting question. I wonder if you can do this by utilizing ArcGIS API for JavaScript. I do not think this would be an out-of-the-box function.

I have a colleague who has made a customization like the one you are asking about. He will package up and share the code when his schedule lightens up in about two weeks.
